You are a nerd.

Plain and simple.

You try to say, 'I'm a geek; there's a difference,' as if being a geek is some sort of aspirational social status.  You've actually special ordered electronics from China.  You are very familiar with Akihabara, but you've never been to Japan.  You know the difference between a gigabit and a gigabyte, are staunchly opinionated on one side of the Mac/PC debate.  You anxiously await the day  when all storage is flash based and when parts of your body can be replaced with robotics.

Whichever comes first.
