The Stratosphere is the garbage disposal of Las Vegas, gladly taking in the clientele that the rest of the strip would rather throw away.
The tall Stratosphere tower is actually a radio transmitter which lures in hordes with black Harley Davidson t-shirts, cellulite-laden thighs filling up short jean shorts (male or female), incomplete sets of teeth, indecipherable southern accents, and people who believe that it's ok to splurge on Bud Heavy (as opposed to the cheaper PBR) because they are on vacation.
The Stratosphere is like a lightening rod, built for the sole purpose of absorbing the dangerous bolt of white-trash that would otherwise go and destroy the infrastructure of the other casinos. -SCHWEITZ
