You're kind of like the ironic young punk guy that wears a Ramones t-shirt when going to the AFI show because you are obviously trying to portray yourself as being "so fucking cool that you understand that the 'classics' can never be beat, but you'll deign yourself by seeing a new band."   The difference is that when you are wearing your New Order t-shirt when going to see The Arcade Fire, you also come off as very effeminate and obnoxious.
