Oh US News and World Report college rankings!  You scoundrel!  Without you, absolutely no one would have ever heard of Rice University!  But, instead you force the parents of prospective Notre Dame, Georgetown or Berkeley students to question their children’s intelligence and future ability to get a job.  I mean, Rice has a higher ranking than those schools; therefore everyone must respect that education more.  Right?
