The ubiquitous famous last words that every white upper-middle class father uses when convincing their wife/child that the Volvo S40 is the best investment for their automotive future. Unfortunately, the father only means safe as in when getting into a collision. He did not take into account how UNSAFE the rider will be from the snide judgments of their peers who would rather take public transportation (and still look cool) than ride in a Volvo.

Driving a Volvo pretty much stereotypes as you an accountant, insurance company middle-manager, legal assistant in a trauma law center, Jesus fanatic or some other risk-averse, boring, soulless, empty shell of a human being.
