A typical Yale student is one of those enigmas that upper-class breeding does not necessarily yield productivity. For example, a reasonably bright prep student from New England that gets into Yale may immediately abandon his/her dream to be a neurobiologist and instead study French Literature. After a very expensive four-year education, the student will often end up working for some shit non-profit (hoping to make a difference), but due to their lack of business training will not necessarily help the cause, nor make much money for themselves. No one (parent, student, alumni network, nor society) wins. Yale should be the case-study that all blue-blood families from the northeast should stick with the time-tested tactic of inbreeding, to render their kids retarded and therefore at least irresponsible for their wasting of resources.
